Roasted Cabbage Steaks
Caramelized smoky roasted cabbage steaks.
Ingredients
- 11 large head cabbage, sliced into 1-inch steaks
- 23 tbsp olive oil
- 31 tsp garlic powder
- 41 tsp onion powder
- 51 tsp paprika
- 61/2 tsp chili powder
- 71 tsp Italian herb blend
- 81 tsp sea salt
- 91/2 tsp black pepper
- 101/2 cup marinara sauce (sugar-free) for serving

Cut cabbage into thick "steaks" about 1-inch thick, keeping the core intact to hold slices together.

Brush each cabbage steak generously with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chili powder, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.

Place seasoned cabbage steaks on a lined baking sheet and roast in a preheated 425°F oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Top roasted cabbage steaks with marinara sauce and sliced baby peppers during the last 5-7 minutes of cooking.

Remove from oven when cabbage edges are crispy and caramelized, and let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
