Sauteed Garlic Asparagus

Tender garlic-sauteed lemon asparagus.
Ingredients
- 11 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 22 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 34 cloves garlic, minced
- 41/2 tsp sea salt
- 51/4 tsp black pepper
- 61 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional)

Wash and trim the woody ends off the asparagus spears.

Peel and mince the garlic cloves.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with a small amount of oil.

Add the asparagus to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the minced garlic and continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes until asparagus is bright green and tender-crisp.

Season with salt and pepper, then serve immediately.
